I’m finding out that motor break-in on your Tamiya Mini 4WD racers is actually a very helpful thing. I also realized I didn’t have a ‘proper’ stand for which to do it. Thus – the Mini 4WD Motor Break-In Stand.
This stand incorporates a few key features – vented bucket that holds the motor in place, air channel underneath to let heated air escape and a 30mm fan pocket with a channel that helps guide cool air over it while it’s breaking in.
The motor and fan are not included, however you can use any small fan from Amazon – 2Pack 30x30x10mm Cooling Fan. Or, if you want to move some serious air, use this one: ProTek RC 30x30x10mm Aluminum High Speed HV Cooling Fan
